The Kidney Assist Transport is a portable oxygenated cold pump system that provides continuous hypothermic pulsatile perfusion of donor kidneys with oxygenated preservation solution during transport from donor to recipient for a period of up to 24 hours.
Features:
- Oxygenated machine perfusion of donor kidneys during transport for up to 24 hours.
- Hypothermic perfusion - kidney and perfusate are cooled using crushed ice.
- Perfusate used in Machine Perfusion Solution.
- Pressure-controlled perfusion - adjustable from 0 to 50 mmHg.
- Pulsatile perfusion via the renal artery using a 60 BPM rotary pump.
- Monitors flow, temperature and vascular resistance.
- Sufficient battery power for an application period of up to 24 hours.
